Cymru
Cymru, the Welsh word for Wales, is James' proudest statement piece. It is what gained him recognition on the Cardiff art scene as an emerging artists, and secured his position as a registered artist with Blackwater Gallery in Wales' capital city.
Created with texture and paint on a large 5ft x 4ft stretched canvas, this artwork celebrates the glorious and mountainous landscape of the Land of Song from a satellite view at night.
The landscape is scattered with the glow and twinkling lights of the cities and towns throughout the Welsh nation, brought to life with both spray paint and acrylic paint.
